How do u put the Creatures into the game?

I also asked this in HC..

huh? by the NCF editor?

how do we put manually creatures in a map? with an editor, no?

seen they are NCF, then we use NCF editor.

also, RTMG will put it-self NCF Creatures in random maps like the Heroes's RMG is able to do with original ones.

I got to say I am really greatful that you've made this avaible for us. Thank you very much.

Only thing is I can't extract it.

I downloaded the software programs, but when I tried to extract them I was told by my zipfile that there was nothing to extract. Any guess why that problem might occur and how to fix it?

Also is it possible to have nagas with this software? :) Just curious

Hi,

RTMG installer is a « exe » file into a « rar » archive.

so use WinRAR to get the exe (RTMG installer) and then run it to install RTMG

About Naga,

RTMG allows to have NCF Creatures, it exists a Naga as NCF but that is not
the Naga abandoned by Nival.

Like you can see, the link offers too a RTMG User Manual and other links for NCF threads.

Ok I got Winrar but now I can't configure the software because there is no "H5_game exe" file to open. Odd considering that i do have the H5 tribes of the east game. But for some reason no file.

yes RTMG made for TotE 3.1...

now, if RTMG doesn't accept the « H5_Game.exe » you're offering to it,
then check if you have a folder named « UserMODs » in the H5 root folder.
RTMG needs it and checks this presence while its configuration

I do have TotE 3.1, but I donot have anything called "UserMods".

As I a side note I have never been able to succesfully obtain any mods for the game. Just last week I tried use a mod called "fast track" that would allow heroes to gain their uberfeats much quicker than normal. I unziped the mod but when I played the game I found that obtaning uberfeats was just as hard as usial, proving the mod had no affect. I don't know if the two problems are related.

Should I reinstall TOTE?

H5 MODs must not be unzipped to work.
That must be localized into « data » folder with « .pak » format or into « UserMODS » folder with « .h5u » format.
« .zip » format also works into UserMODs folder.

Note: H5 Editors are just able to see MODs from data folder

If UserMODS folder doesn't exist, just create it.

I don't know if re-installing will fix troubles you're talking, you can try.

H5 RMG works from template models (.xdb files from data.pak --> data.pak/RMG/Templates) but
these templates are not random just hard-coded. RTMG creates "random" templates usable by H5 RMG
read the manual! :P

Well Re-instaling didn't help.

You've been very paitent with me and the least I can do in return is level with you.

I know almost nothing about computers. The truth is I don't know what ".pak" means or what "h5u" format is. Though I can make a folder and call it "UserMOD" there is apparently more to using this software than that.

I think I am so inedpt with computers that you and I would have to spend weeks together to get this right, which I would be fine with but I am sure you have better ways to spend your time.

I will try regersting my game with ubisoft to see if that helps but I think I am just going to have to enjoy the game without this software.
