Avonu wrote:BTW lotusreaver - if you going to summary Zehir campaign don't forget about two cutscenes that were addad in some patch (were missing ealier).
Can you refresh my memory as to which cut-scenes these are? Just a vague description will do. I have the most recent patch, so I probably have seen them. But you never know.

Well, in my opinion, Godric is just a terrible copy of Uther the Lightbringer from WarCraft III:

And Nicolai is a terrible (shameless even) copy of Arthas from WarCraft III:

There's even a dark Nico..., I mean a Dark Arthas (lol):

Isabel, however, is unique beyond comparison. :D

But wait... wait...

Good Nicolai rides a horse, Bad Nicolai doesn't.

One scene when Findan's sidekick inform Zehir about Findam and Tieru's scroll and second one from 4th mission in Zehir's campaign when Agrael reveal that he is Raelag to Isabel... or something like that. ;P

Just watch the dialogue replays, should be there. I think it was just those two.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Still can't comprehend the fact that Nival managed to leave out one of the most important cutscenes in the entire game. The story's already botched enough without it.

Not that has something important in it. Godric and Zehir are clueless as always, Findan only says something about elves-dark elves relationship... one good point that cutscene was IIRC Isabel relising that all was her fault.

lotusreaver wrote:In terms of H5, in writing the campaign summaries, I've noticed that a lot of the characters are just plain clueless or don't have the common sense to act when they sense something is wrong.

Who would you say is the most clueless/stupid of the characters. And who would you say is the smartest/most logical?
I think they put something in the water in Ashan that makes them so dumb. That's why the undead characters seem to be pwning everyone, their brains might be damaged, but they're not being actively destroyed anymore...

One more thing that you see when you compare Ashan map and in-game maps:

Good job as usual.

Back then I disliked Markal but he was actually a refreshing character, his obvious madness was as apparent as his inherent sneakiness :D Plus he had that godly quote before his downfall. He was an obvious bastard and proud of it, it was Isabel that allowed him to wrap her around his little finger. So much stupidity that it hurts.

One more thing, it seems a bit of a stretch how a weakened Griffin empire just strolled into Cyrus' domain and slaughtered him. Of course you could argue that Markal was some kind of messiah for the undead that swarmed to join him and that his army wasn't strictly from the empire but a whole nation..? You'd think the place would have more experienced generals or something.

I never got this far in the campaign, but I enjoy your continuing mockery of all the NWC name-dropping.
Back from the dead? Maybe.

The ones I made back then were actual summaries. There are more like parodies. You can still see the old ones on the main page, just click on the banners.

Speaking of which, the Warlock campaign is coming real soon.
