The site seems to have some serious problems with pictures

Pictures of the site don't seem to load properly. In fact it took me about 30 minutes to figure out where the new post button is (because no image appears. Am I the only one experiencing those problems, or it is the site that has taken some damage?

Hmmm, it looks fine to me.

The actual site is located in the United States, so you might experience some slowdowns from the other side of the world. But other than that....
