Maps and mods together

Unread postby Akul » 25 Jun 2006, 20:56

Do you think that maps and mods should be in different section or do you think that they can stand together? Vote!

Imo, they should be seperated. I am coming to this forum only to help other mapmakers or find something more about mapmaking. And I don't have any intentions to mod H5.

And I am sure that modmakers think the same.

It would be nicer if they were separated, but we don't want to put too much presure on the forum or anything.

I agree with you, it seems quite confusing having the two mixed. It shouldn't put any more pressure on the forum having an extra 'Guild'. The hard part is that we must move all teh topics manually (again), but I think we need to tend to it.

Also, if you have an idea what it could share a subforum with instead of maps, it would be appreciated. The problem with having a subforum just for mods is that there isn't very many such threads.

9 treads Gaidal. And it is just the begining. For few weeks, there will be more treads. For few months, when modmaking becomes as popular as mapmaking , there will be as much treads as in Equilibrius subforum, if not more.

Right now, there are no problems with having theme both together. But when mapmakers start posting maps and advices and other stuff and when modmaker number increases, there will be a living chaos of whats MAP and whats the MOD tread.

EDIT: I counted again. There are 20 MOD treads and about 5 for which I am not sure (didn't click on theme).
