I think I played one of those three a bit, forget which. I liked the looks of the game, the atmosphere and the action, but I quit on account of being rather motorically challenged. :D I might try them out again.

Well, this game was becoming a bit repetitive, and I thought "oh no, I hate it when games haven't been thought through and become repetitive. This will bore me in about an hour". However, this was not the case. Cause except for the basic acrobatics that needs to be done all the time, the story just got even more complicated and the combat mode changed. Cool

Yes, the latest one.
I've finished it some days ago. Strange ending :?

Now playing Bioshock for PS3 and thinking about firing up Mirror's Edge to have a look too :D

Finished it too, and I agree about the strange ending. I mean come on, there are better (and less obvious) ways to leave things open for a sequel.

The game is a bit repetitive, so the sequel could do with some more variety; and it was very much frustrating at times as well - I had huge problems with the Warrior fight in the Tower of Ormazd, so much so that I had to restart the game and leave the warrior area for last. But it was overall a wonderful, magical experience. Two thumbs up!

Exactly! I had a feeling that I just waisted a couple of days of my life because of what happened in the end :disagree:

I thought the warrior was easy enough to conquer, I had minor problems with placing my prince in the correct spot for him to tip the warrior off the side of the building, but I managed :)
I liked the whole back and forth with the prince and Elika. It wasn't particularly middle eastern but it worked for me. The fact that she is even there makes for a more interesting game. I would've been bored if it wasn't for her...
But who cares? She was, and I had a good time playing :)

Now Bioshock, that is a whole other thing :disagree:

I didn't exactly hate it. It's just that when I was halfway through the game I was freakin bored! And unfortunately that didn't change. The ending sucked too. And I was even evil.
I'm not sure why everyone loves Bioshock so much. I get the fact that the story is alluring, the environment and ambience is refreshing, and the fact that every choice you make has more than one possible outcome is all up to the standards of the whole "Next gen"-thing. Unfortunately, gameplay is just way way too weak, combat controls suck, and I was very close to not even bothering to finish it....rubbish! :disagree: My boss agrees.

@PR: No, I haven't yet because I can't acquire it anywhere for PS2 :(
And I am told that of the old games, that's the one I should try first.
After finishing it, I quickly missed the wall running but luckily Mirror's Edge has wall-running too.
But when I'm done with ME, I've run out of acrobatic games to play

You too?? 8| I played the game earlier last year, finished a couple levels, thought it was very creative and original, and then...just left it. Reinstalled some 4 months ago, played further than I did before, but again stopped maybe halfway through. I don't know why, it just didn't manage to hold my attention, even though I wanted to love it.

Me neither. I think the sheer expectations might've ruined it for us.
But I wouldn't recommend it to any of my customers.
At first I didn't recognize the fact that it was a repetitive, boring game, but when I did, I really had to strongly persuade myself to finish it. I like finishing games. But it was hard to do. I'm pleased to find that more people than just me and my boss were disappointed.
But, did you ever get the whole story then? Or weren't you interested? :)

@PR: Wow, those cost a fortune! 8| I could never afford that with my current salary... And as far as I know, Denmark doesn't have a seperate Amazon. There's an Amazon.uk site though :)

I found it fairly easy but that allowed it to have momentum. The focus was on jumping puzzles rather than combat as in the later versions. Visually it was very lovely...there were only a couple of scenes in Warrior Within that matched most of Sands of Time.

I don't know anything about the new one except what I've read here. Doesn't sound promising.

I tried SoT recently, but found the controls frustrating, I guess they are pretty different from the new Prince. Also, the camera was annoying. But I'm gonna give it another try, as I like the atmosphere and graphics.

Phoenix: The new Prince rocks meh socks. :D

Ok I got confused about how to answer at first but then I figured out some of the comments are about Bioshock.

For some reason Milla I thought you had bought some 3-pack with all the newer prince games in it.

Anyway there's a distinct difference in style between the first and second games and I prefer the style of the first that's all. Reading some reviews would give you details.
