Yeah, what most games lack is a good implementation. Some do a good job though (like morrowind/oblivion)...

personally i liked the big world in GTA, and in Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind etc :)

made ya feel kinda "free", unlike other games like FPS and such.
Ultima, Elder Scrolls and Might and Magic Veteran.

Yeah it's great. Especialy with Oblivion. They give you directions to the storyline and the normal quests, can't really get lost...

It had been so long since I played Daggerfall, that when I played Morrowind, I really, couldn't get into it. Not too mention, I had always cheated on Daggerfall. Though, I might try Daggerfall again and play it as how it should be played. I always enjoyed the game.

You can loiter in the stores until they close(which is at midnight) and the store owner will be gone. Then you're free to take everything without alerting the guards.

`sigh` I wish Daggerfall wasn't done on DOS. I can't play it on XP :(.

Yes, but Daggerfall won't install at all. It just freezes and crashes.
