Mass Effect
Mass Effect
Ever heard about this game, folks? Its a 3rd person action rpg from the Bioware guys. The geniuses behind KOTOR, Baldurs Gate etc (guess you all knew that alredy=)
For me it looks amazing, enormous and not at least promising.
its this kinda game I in fact have longed for so long. RPG spiced with top-notch action and free roaming in our very own galaxy, the Milkyway!
its to good to be true, I mean, you can visit any place of the galaxy and not only the mission based planets and moons, there are a pletora of uncharted worlds for us to find
The graphic is lovely! I just hope there wont be any slowdowns.
Talking about kicking ass in outer space! Mass Effect is the best example IMHO as a Milkyway answer on the GalaxyFarFarAway galaxy, the galaxy where Star Wars is set. ME will be just as huge as KOTOR, no doubt!
Linkys for more info.

...and theres always wikipedia
Im alredy consumed by this game, only drawback..its not coming to any other console or pc at all as far as I know, its an xbox 360 exclusive trilogy. For the last of the 360's years.

Yeah, the trilogy are planned to stretch out of the rest of the years the console have left, as with most other consoles, before new next-gen consoles are released. Estimated life span for Xbox 360 from the day it shipped is 5-6 years.
Hey Ethric, dont get upset. These so-called exclusives may come to PC. Remember Halo? It was said exclusive, but got converted to PC. It may be for Mass Effect to, So dont lose it
And if you have any friends or family members who plays alot and have 360 and want to get ME, pay them a visit

Ah, I misinterpreted your statement.
Anyways, I've had the game reserved since it was possible to reserve it. After playing KOTOR, KOTOR2, and Jade Empire, there is no way I'm not picking up Mass Effect.
As to what class I'm going to play, I might for an engineer. Never know when you might need a good hacker.

And the chickens. Those damn chickens.
I played both KOTOR games, awesome both of them (though nr 2 was unfinished) I will surely get my hands on this game too, the 23 nov.
I think I'll go for the Infiltrator, a dual class. I wonder what the 6 unlockable classes are. I cant see how the three different types: Engineering, Biotic and Combat can stretch out over another set of six.

The six starter classes are:
Soldier - Combat
Engineer - Tech
Adept - Biotics
Infiltrator - Combat and Tech
Vanguard - Biotics and Combat
Sentinel - Engineering and Biotic
Now, many ask themself what can be the unlockable 6 other classes.
Did you know there are six distinct character classes in Mass Effect, each with a different package of starting and unlockable talents? In addition, if you play well enough to survive the physical and political dangers of the galaxy, you will gain the ability to unlock six more specialization classes later in the game.

Beat the game today around 4:00 a.m. Sitting through class is a bit difficult, but I have my priorities.
I strongly recommend this game to anybody who enjoyed Knights of the Old Republic. Everything about the game works, with the small exception of texture pop-ups.
I completed the game as a soldier/shocktrooper who specialized in assault rifles. When you beat the game, you are allowed to go back with the same character with all of your skills on a higher difficulty level. Even better, if you earn certain achievements with various skills, they can be added as a bonus skill to any class. Since I specialized in assault rifles and killed enough people with them, I was able to pick that skill for the biotic character I just created. I think it's quite a nice feature.

You wish Its said its an 360 exclusive series...hope they change their mindOmega_Destroyer wrote:It will. Both of the Knights games and Jade Empire did, so it's pretty likely that Mass Effect will be releasted on the PC some day.
And yes I did mine custom, the avatar one is the 3rd and until now, Roderick Shepard last character I played through with. Sentinel, ruthless and a colonist. Man its a hilarious way to go when ruthless. Reporters beware And Fist aint the only Fist
My previous two
Erik Shepard - The first i played with. Earthborn, kinda good guy with a few bad sides. Sole Survivor.
Orfinn Shepard - Nr. 2 Paragon at best, war hero and spacer.
Im about to start with Erik again to reach the lvl 60 achievement
