I say, doesn't this look a lot like Arcomage from MM7/8?

Because we play other games too.

How about a little more information? Maybe even a full sentence?

Go play MM7 or 8, and maybe you'll understand.

(That is, if you don't understand what it's about, answer "no").

My point is that when starting a new thread about something, you should do more than just posting a link. We got a separate thread for posting random links to stuff.

So I took the liberty of altering the threads name to reflect what it is about.

Ahh...that's a bad link! Really bad! It made me play instead of working!

It's like Acromage without the pretty graphics.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

nah, that would be too predictable.

WITH multiplayer, that sure made it up for me.

Similar, but it was much nicer in MM7.

Cool but way to addictive game, stay clear! :D

Many small, funny games. I like Pacman the most, the first game I ever tried in my life at that was at my aunts hotel in a arcade hall :proud:

Excuse me, pandaboy, but sci-fi elements don't belong on a HoMM board. Please take it elsewhere. :devious:

Any other similar games

Unread postby VendingGuy » 29 Aug 2008, 23:00

Does anyone know of any other free games out there like ArcoMage. I love it but I am too cheap to pay the $14 for the game :-)

Thanks, Chuck

You dont even know how lucky you are. I want to get full version of Arcomage, I am willing to pay for it, but I can't buy it due to fact I live in Slovak Republic (yes, territory based distribution sucks).

As far as I know, there is Multiplayer Arcomage project which allow play game nearly similar to Arcomage online.
I don't know how it is with copyrights.

This flash game lacks most if not all of the things that made Arcomage so addictive. What a shame.

AYE, it may not be advanced like Arcomage. But all the basics are there, and that's what make Arcomage...euhm... Arcomage :D!

I didn't think Arcomage in mm7 was very advanced. In fact it was pretty limited...I guess I'm used to games like Magic.

FWIW, Arcomage was originally just a mini-game within a game. Magic won the Mensa Select award. It's pretty hard to compete with that.

What you say is true...I just don't understand the love for Acromage...it could easily have been a little more complex...or at least the online version (which I haven't looked at) could certainly be.
