I lurk in the D2 forums over there...and it is really, really sad, to say the least. Everyone accusing everyone else of scamming...:wall:

So, it's safe to assume that BioShock is awesome then? ;)

It's not out yet. It was accidentally released early by the pure incompetence of Toys "R" Us. That's why people were able to beat it and ruin it for the rest of us.

Gamespot gives the XBOX version a 9.0/10.0. No word yet on the PC version.

Funny - while Gamespot gives it a 9, the review itself isn't overwhelmingly positive. I think it says more that's bad about the game than what's good. Graphics, music and story get good marks, but gameplay and some performance issues are heavily criticized.

Well what I want to know is, if the reviewer didn't enjoy the game, why give it a 9?

The one review I read about it, in a norwegian newspaper, was generally :hail: towards it. Though he said he considered himself someone who spent a long time on finishing games, going around snooping for details, and finished it in 20 hours. Not sure I'd buy something you could finish in 20 hours, however awesome. At least not for full price at release. Unless there's some heavy replay-potential (multiple solutions and outcomes throughout).

Gamespot reported (IIRC) the game lasts 15-20 hours, but that's actually fairly long for a FPS-type game.

I don't understand how Gamespot functions a bit.

And the game is a first person shooter Ethric. They don't tend to be on the lengthy side, so 20 hours is a good amount of play time. And on that note, I'm off to pick up my limited edition preorder. Peace.

You are operating under the impression that I'm not too lazy to download and play a demo.

Corribus doesn't have a 360, so the demo isn't available to him.

As for first impressions, give me about an hour or two and I'll post some.
