@TT:Well, is true that the colossus is faster and has cliffwalking, but on the video it only killed one svc, while a reaver+shuttle managed to kil 3-5 with a single shoot and flee away within a few seconds.
However, I'm not saying that 2-3 colossus can kill most of the svcs with one or two shoots. The problem is the attack animation of the colossus, it is too long, I prefer the old attack(the two rays attacking constantly an unit till the colossu kill the unit and then to the nearest unit and so on.
Anyway, the colossus can be countered quite easy, some turrets on a cliff and they would be dammed :devious:

Carriers :tonguehands:
Seriously, vs turrets neither colossus nor shuttle would stand against. And shuttle are faster than colossus....

Which are another unit... but the Colossi can attack turrets... and by the time you upgrade the Shuttle's speed (otherwise) you'd prob have more then 1 Colossus.

But a quick unload&shoot&load&flee away with the shuttle can be much faster(killing3-5 workers easyly), unlike colossi.
However, if the colossi has more range than the turrets, colossi ftw(even though the surprise attack would be lost)

if there's turrets you don't get to flee... chances are it won't survive another trip through fire.

Disruptive Web ftw! :P

EDIT: Or it's no longer available in SC2?

According to Play.com StarCraft II will be released on 13/3/2009 (I guess this is the UK/Europe date?).

I heard that to play on Battlenet you'll have to pay a monthly fee which will be shared for all Blizzard games, so once you pay it you'll also be able to play WoW for free... this is just another indirect way of advertising WoW :disagree:

nope, you still have to buy WoW if you want to play it, but if you already play WoW, you won't pay additional money to have access to battle.net. They are just unifying their game services, however it is unfair against non-WoW players who will have to pay (unless blizz won't add any free but non-complete b.net version for people who doesn't want to pay).

Yeah right... they haven't even announced a beta yet, and they said that even then they might change units etc... unless they announce it this week there's no way it will be over in 2 months (if they release it with the same balance SC1 had when it was first released it will fail as a pro-game).

Yeah, that doesn't say anything about money... and as each game would have it's own activation (there's no way they'll let you play SC2 and D3 with only a WoW account) there's no req for the whole account to cost anything.

I think i'll wait for something more solid myself.

I have additional info about that in one game magazine (in SC2 preview), however it is written in czech language, so you won't understand that, will you?

And it's not like you could translate it or anything... (Mozilla, not FF, has a translation feature too).

Sure I can translate it, but I don't have that much time right now, maybe I will make it until tomorrow. I don't trust those automatic translators, sometimes they work really weird.
