Seeing as how I never really liked it that much to begin with, I can imagine I would have liked it even less knowing how much was taken from WH40k.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

So, they guy in charge of SC2 worked for EA on some C&C games.... this explains a few things.

And BlizzCon has some new info, like the Archon soon loosing those annoying legs, the Tempest being out and the Carrier back in, and "new" Terran units on the official site.

And both Terrans and Protoss are playable at BlizzCon... :oex:

Holly efing shait:
They trio also confirmed that some of the units from the first Starcraft that have been removed for the sequel have actually been built and will be available for modders to use (even more good news for map-makers).
And some tech trees:

Huh... look from where they got Jim Raynor's name from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rush_(1991_film)

And they say he'll start resembling his namesake more in SC2 by hitting the bottle more....

Yea, that's why I didn't mentioned it. However here are multiple chances at least for me, in sc they will know what will be the correct hit.

(That Opera beast is really faster)

the way Thor turns looks cool imo, but is it just me or does its model look like a pile of scrap metal?

and, ive got this fear that they might render siege tanks pointless. it aint terran when it aint got lotsa tanks.

Yeah, don't much care for how the Thor looks either, and it also reminds of something, but i just can't remember what.

The Robotech/Macross (or Transformers) inspired Viking is cool though.

They can't make the Seige Tank redundant, General Duke would turn in his grave! (if he weren't killed by the Zerg) They've already got rid of the Firebat and the Vulture... Looking forward to seeing the new Zerg units, and not only to see if the Hydralisk and Mutalisk have survived.

There were Mutas in the videos, and the Hydra has artwork on the site.

I don't thinki the Siege Tank will become redundant, the Thor seem too expensive and slow to be a worthwhile replacement.

I have only now seen the gameplay video. This is going to be awesome! The Mothership's blackhole ability looked amazing, and now I begin to wonder if my computer can cope. (and hopefully my lovely Mutalisks will regain their Glaive Wurms...)

Yup, they still have it, and i doubt people will accept it being taken out.

the ghost looks like an infantry killer now; drop pods aren't very original (tiberian sun)

to be honest there are lots of elements in starcraft 2 that are in common with tiberium wars.

Like the Mothership, drop pods, jet packs, thor (looks alot like the Juggernauts), carriers...

might be just coincidences... as people are usually not very original when it comes to video games which are mostly addressed to idiots anyway...

I'm sure that starcraft II will be only 30% original but it will still be the best rts for a couple of years

They've put up info about the Motherships now. From the pictures it looks like you can have more than one. Also, they don't mention the blackhole ability, and show a clip of some cloaking field (think Arbiter in SC1).

Yes, the black hole ability has been ditched apparently, and the planet cracker ability does not look nearly cool enough now, having been reduced to a single beam. Waaaaaaa! :(
