I don't mind either way...but here's how I see it.

Starcraft - RTS game...those games are virtually eternal if made right...thanks to map editors and stuff.

Diablo - Action/Adventure with RPG elements or RPG hack and slash, however you prefer to define it ;). New content at irregular periods. We're still stuck with the same quest content off-line and a mere two additional quests on ladder since 3-4 years ago (expansion release).

So...I love both games, but I have to say I want D3 to come out first...even though SC is badly outdated (I love that game, I can play with all 3 races effectively :proud:).

Can't say I'm too excited about Starcraft after 10 years or however long it's been. After playing WH40k, I can't get excitied about the uninspired races.

As to Diablo 3, that I could totally go for. The only thing we really have to fill that void is Titan Quest and while it's fun, it just lacks the charm of the Diablo series.

I have complete faith in Blizzard not releasing Diablo 3 within the next 5 years.

Yeah...they'll milk WoW till the end of days...:disagree:

A valid point has been brought up in some other forums that if Blizzard releases D3, then they risk losing part of the WoW fanbase (those who play it because it has Diablo-esque elements and not because it's the Next Big ThingTM).

I hope they release D3...

Please Blizzard? :beg:

I hope it`s something with starcraft. Never cared much for Diablo and i doubt that they`ll release anything new for Warcraft while WoW is still hot thing.

GameSpot points to the starcraft2.com site with a story entitled "Starcraft 2 Confirmed?". They seem to take this domain name seriously.
