Well only the Protoss teleport, the other 2 burrow or have jetpacks. The mechanics of that are different.

nydus worm is a transformation of the nydus canal concept most likely, instead of making your troops travel from one colony to another they are transported by a giant subterrenean worm.(which means you can transport them outside the colony as well)

I think they are fine, no more wuss to build a canal to send your troops outside of colony. Less vurnerable then, than risking sending a drone and waste resources on a nydus canal when you have a feeling the enemy may be near and have to hurry troops in the vincinity of where you build.

Stargate: http://www.starcraft2.com/features/prot ... b=stargate

The SC one was longer, and imo looked better for it, but this one looks pretty great too.

They updated it with the Dark Archon. Apparently you get the same archon if you meld 2 DTs, 2 HTs or a DT+HT.. odd.

the Thor could use tank tracks instead of feet. And the Reapers kinda nullify them making the Marines look more like Gundams then battle-brothers of the Adeptus Astartes.

I know (not that C&C3 doesn't have 2 VTOL's like that, for both GDI and Nod), i said Double Strike referring to the fact that it looks like an Orca but acts like that Nod bomber.

You know, i really wonder how much i would have enjoyed SC if i knew where the inspiration came from... i'm thinking a bit less, but not by much, but i'm kinda biased. anyone went through that?
