some other intros to feast your eyes on

some great memories right here sound quality is a bit bad though

and the actual intro is not bad either though a tad dated, the sound on this one gets me going

I am shocked however that none of you hardcore youtube linkers haven't shown this one hasn't cracked a mention

which then automatically leads to this one right here which is easily one of the most intensely amazing intro's I've ever witnessed!!!

Space Hulk Intro

From original 1993 PC game (that I happen to own). The game was full of atmosphere and it was a very challenging one.

LoK: Soul Reaver

LoK: Soul Reaver 2

LoK: Defiance

Defiance is the only one i didn't finish, as the damn Elder God battle was so boringly hard.

My Top 5: (in no particular order)

* Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings

* Civilization III (much better than Civ IV's intro)

* Diablo II

* Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2

* FIFA 99

:embarrassed: one of my favorite intros is actually a two parter. It is from FFx-2 (not 12, 10 part 2). You do have a bit of a fight and a bit of a chase between the two parts, but it is very well done imo.

City Building Game with Egyptians. Right after Cesar I, II, III (Romans, duh), and right before its expansion pack Cleopatra, and the other CBGs Zeus, Zeus - Poseidon (Greeks) and Rise of the Middle Kingdom (Chinese).

Since I'm a big RPG fan, I'll have to nominate the Darkside of Xeen intro as being the best in the entire M&M series. It also has the distinction of one of the best RPG endings of all time.

You mean Sheltem & Corac fight, or prophesy fulfilment ? Becase you cant get second with just Darkside of Xeen.
