Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim

Postby ThunderTitan » Nov 4 2006, 20:44

Anyone know this game?! I just loved all the units and the world. And this is what really gets me:
A sequel, Majesty Legends, was planned, but never officially released. The developer, Cyberlore studios, cited the lack of a producer as the reason.

Stupid market. :disagree:

For the glory of KROLM...

Official site: http://www.majestyquest.com/

I never had a good version of it, but that's about to change. I'd like to thank Ya5MieL for reminding me of it with his avatar pic.

Excellent, innovative game.
Still remember how hard is to rear a wizard, they got killed most of the time. But lucky ones that reach high levels - are becoming sinister fire- machines

Stupid market.

Market depends on humans, so .. stupid humans.

Black Isle, Looking Glass, Troika Games .. all closed damn it

edit: Yeah .. and NWC too.

Hey! Somebody else know that game :D

I've played the demo but are too cheap to buy it for 10 euros so I'm constantly looking for it on Tradera and Ebay.

I played the demo, but I never got my hands on the full game :(
It was very enjoyable.

Just found out something quite bad....the .exe created on the desktop is to the original game. To access the quests from the expansion (and all the original ones) you must start the expansions .exe and that file is located in "Majesty" -- "Majx"

Can't believe why they made it like this! It's in class with Nival and that's low!

Umm...This game is how old now?10 years was it?So such a small slip is not actually that bad.

You let them stay on your desktop?! How quaint. i just use the Start/Prog shortcut. It has them both.

And it's definatly not 10 years DL. Unless you're in 2010 and using the prank the past internet connection.

Plus, the expansion quests don't have any of the original ones as requirements, so you don't need to play "south of the mountains" unless you really want to experience the changes made.

Haven't tried the expansion yet....lol how was I supposed to know that the desktop shortcut was to the original game. But it was good that I started with the original so I got some experience B-)

We gotta compare scores in a week or so :-D (days spent is the important criteria ofcourse).
