Well D3 is nowhere to be seen or heard of, but supposedly there is a game out there that is supposed to take D3's place..will start a thread about it, for I know next to nothing on it. But seriously..take D3's place? As if.... Diablo is still one of my favorite games. It was inventive and original :).

It's been discussed, but Titan's Quest seems a reasonable game, not spectacular

@Mytical,
You may be thinking along the lines of Hellgate: London.

Diablo 3 will come one day.

Titan Quest is a good game. It is similar to diablo in that you control one character and it is a mixture of hack and slash and role playing. TQ has more role playing elements than diablo and the graphics are more modern. The skill system is quite nice as well.

TQ is pretty much a single player game though you can multiplay it (I have not.)

I enjoy TQ and heartily recommend it if you are looking to play a new diablo type game. However, I do still prefer Diablo 2.

Diablo II is an awesome game. The only part that took me for a loop was when I beat Baal in Nightmare with a Druid (built to morph into a Werebear). After I beat that, I moved on to Hell which is, to put it bluntly, hell :devil:. The dificulty scaling is insane (I had trouble beating Zombies and let's not even mention physical immunes :( ).

The only thing I miss from Diablo I is the "feeling". You FELT like you were in those dungeons (remember running from Black Deaths as a Warrior...oh nostalgia :tired:).

I love Werebears. :) I have a level 89 shock-mauler in single player mode. They can solo hell difficulty with good equipment and make great tanks for party play. Of course Oblivion Knights are the bane of any melee character so he has to be very careful in areas where those can spawn.

He used an upgraded ribcracker until he could use a tomb reaper (I use ATMA so I can transfer items between characters without going to open battlenet.)

Here are his stats with maul powered up.

Wow, Diablo 2.

I used to play Hardcore single player and I got a non muled 1.10 summoning Necromancer into Hell act 4. I didn't take him any further because I felt that his fire resistance was a little lacking. 33/33 skeletons and 32/33 skelemages {At that level, mages do more damage than skeletons as they can actually concentrate on a single enemy} His Summoning amulet of the whale and Arm of King Leoric were pretty nice finds. Sad that I had more luck with him than all the time I spent on BNet HC ladder.

Guy even got an Ist and a Tal Rasha amulet. I still have him on my old computer. If I reinstalled D2 on my new PC, is there anyway I can transfer him?
