I have played all of the worm games, worms, worms 2, worms armageddon, worms world party, worms 3d and worms castles or whateveer it was named.
My favs gotta be worms 2, wwp and a bit of worms 3d. Worms 2 gotta be the best thanks to the detailed editor, creating insane weapons of mass destruction One of the cool assets to the sequels (where wwp is my fav) were that you could shot while aiming, a nice touch. Also using different languages than english
To bad the left out homing cluster bomb and homing air strike from wwp, I really enjoyed those, cleaning out dark siders But they didnt add that much strategy I heard, at least not the first mentioned, too easy to hit the enemy I guess But funny nontheless. Worms 3D was decent, but not many weapons remained from previous games, like the bow and arrow and the flame thrower.
Of weapons I love using that bow and arrow, not too powerful, but it had its uses too, you could make a bridge with arrows if you were patient and had enough of arrows or plumbing thight tunnels if girders didnt fit the tunnel. The homing pigeon and aqua sheep comes both on second. I love that "hoot, hoot" but accidently instead of hitting the target, colliding into a piece of land...bad bird!!
Of tools I gotta go with the classic ninja rope fantasic as said in combo with dynamite or even with bazooka! (just watch the wind direction=) I also like to build castles deep underground with girders, preparing too meet those pesky light siders
Funny too play both light and dark btw.
