OC SPoILERS BELOW!

Just finished the original campaign. Elanee was mentioned being seen lurking in the woods in the end-slideshow, which is a bit odd considering she met with an... accident. earlier on (damn traitorous druid-wenches get what's coming to them). At the end, Qara didn't much like me and joined the dark side, which was fun. At least that paladin-guy could be trusted to stick with me since the guy we were fighting was slighlty more evil than me :D Neeshka stood by me steadfastly of course ;) I was at 100/1 I think, at the end. (Lawful Evil). Had 100/0 too, but hard not to pick up the stray good-point here and there if you want to stick to the eploit people for power-schemes ;)

I still can't believe that Sand would join the bad guys because he thinks Quara is a bigger threat. How moronic is that?

On the mask.. The few times I have tried to devour a soul it gets disrupted as if I was casting a spell  Am I doing something wrong? How much would I have to wait for the ability to be used again? Thankfully I got eternal rest, that should help with not getting addicted with devouring :D

It's not that. The game was designed to have at least Qara or Sand turn on you. The one with the lower influence will always turn.

As to spirit devouring, you have to wait about 5 minutes before you can use it again. Eternal Rest helps, but only against undead and a few situations. Your best bet is to use suppress around a lot of spirits. If you can't use that, Satiate isn't that bad of an ability. You only lose about 5,000 XP or so.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

I'd rather refrain from that :) Btw took a look at gamespot and it seems that you get some bonuses should you increase your craving. Not that I'd want to come closer to this thing's nature but I might try it another time.

OMG! This thread is full of spoilers! Nooo!

I like it. :)

I just finished the OC and I enjoyed ending the lives of my partymates. :devious: That was really a very long battle. I kinda liked the ending but not that much.

Thanks Elvin! But most guys don't like that. And  for the stabbing!

I was thinking I'd take my 5 wizard / 10 red wizard / 5 eldritch knight through MotB, but testing out in the start, that woman gives me no props for actually being a red wizard, and from what I read that goes through the entire game. And part of the reason I took red wizard was to hobnob with the others in MotB... the other reason was of course the coolness.

You get the stuff you had on you at the start of MotB, but not your inventory. Do you ever see the stuff in your inventory again? Like in Hordes you find it in a chest some ways into the game. Because I thought I'd find a small leveling-module (tips appreciated of course, so I don't have to look as much ;) ) and remake a wizard type without red wizard, and give myself apropriate gear. And if I start from scratch except that which I waer, I won't bother giving any of the stuff I carried around at the end of the OC.

The only stuff you take with you is what you were wearing at the end of the original campaign/custom module. I know my Endless Depths Monk brought some crazy gloves with him and the game was way too easy. I'll have to post what gear he had.

I've reached the part with the coven, man I hate that cackling!
Had to reload there because of bad spirit management. Starting with 100 spirit from Mulsantir I had around 18 remaining(yes the craving bar had reached the middle..). Supressed some, waited till night for the portal, then I had no abilities and the spirit was not enough for me to last.

Could've used satiate but I tried to keep the craving bar in better shape this time, thankfully the previous save was close. Kinda annoying but manageable.

Should have used satiate. With careful management, you'll probably only need to use it 2 or 3 times a game if you are into that sort of thing.

And I agree about the Coven. The first time I encountered it, I absolutely hated it.

Yes but wouldn't that leave my craving bar still where it was? That's what I wanted to correct.

Yeah, but you'd still be alive and wouldn't have to reload.

I figured so. But I had only 20 mins to lose and in return I'd be more comfortable with my spirit reduction later.

Just finished the OC being on the good side. Well, that was good. But I still like the ending of the evil side. Winning as evil was really hard, much harder than being good. Odd... coz IRL being good is harder than being evil. :)

And now its time for MotB! I guess I'm going to have problem with my character's AC. *shrugs*

What? Being good in real life is much easier than being evil. Just not everyone cares to support my point.

In the game ending, yes. Because when I tried to side evil, I cheated just so I could win the game.

Err... I don't know, maybe for you.

This is crazy! Lolth is not included on the deity option! It can't be! It can't be!
Noooooo!

OMG... my EK performed very well tonight. I didn't expect it will be that good! The defense is awesome! Hehe... I only have problems in dealing huge damage. I feel like I'm pinching the enemy to death. Anyways, I don't have my full gear yet. But still, I want to know its weakness.

Thanks for the help, OD! :handshake:

Just finished the mask woohoo! :-D The ending was fitting though I wander what would happen if I did not have all masks. I was lucky I saw my journal about stonemoss(?) or I would have forgotten it.
