Apparently the UK and GER versions will come out on the 25th of this month (June): http://www.kalypsomedia.com/en/games/di ... ndex.shtml

Anyone know what the status of the game is?! Did they fix the many game breaking bugs that the RUS version had?! At least enough to make it playable instead of making us pay for a beta like they did to the russians?!

Hey, an E3 trailer!

http://www.giantbomb.com/disciples-iii- ... r/17-2773/

Looks like the release is in juli.
The trailer looks cool, but the animations are a bit choppy.
Hope the bugs are gone...

So the UK/DE version is out... anyone played it yet? If not i'll have to try it out in the weekend and i'll let you guy know if it's any better (the russian demo that came out a few weeks back seemed less buggy, but that was only half a mission).

I tried and the game is still buggy, unbalanced and the AI is brain dead.

Here is a link to the publishers forum :

Actually from what i played the game has under half the bugs that the russian version had... so at least it looks like they're working on them. As for the AI, well if it's working so badly at release, or even the beta, it's unlikely it will ever get much better, as it sounds like it needs to be started over from scratch, and that almost never happens.

But the official english translation is worse then the fan-made one it seems... how sad!

I read that they plan to release dwarves and undead as DLC in the coming months and are willing to patch the game so it might get better over time.

Not DLC, but expansions... at least that was the plan before the game came out in Russia.

Somehow reluctant to even try after I was disillusioned by the original.
Still wonder if they got at least decent narrator, one in russian version, with his half-song prophecy narration just could be heard for more than 10 seconds

Actually i missed the booming voice-over narration...

IMO we should all head over to the official forums and demand more bug-fixes before we buy the game... who knows, they might even listen.

Yeah, I too, miss that cool, dark monotonous voice over of Disciples II. (On a side note, the narration of Rise of the Elves was also disappointing because they changed the guy who did the voice over and it felt inconsistent and slightly out of place.)

Well Disciples 2's original narrator is unmatched, but i meant D3's russian narrator... it was cheesy, but in a good way.

Haha, what's even funnier is, Disciples III copied off of Heroes V specifically, which not only deserves but requires a video of its own.

Can anyone get this to download? No matter which site I choose, it always stops at exactly 2GB downloaded. That's about half the actual file size.

Can anyone say something about the skill system? I am afraid after HV I am a bit pampered and sucky skill system is something that I am lazy (bored) playing. :outoforder:
