Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Unread postby mr.hackcrag » 18 Jul 2015, 02:42

I am not the type of person who is easily impressed, but I'd like to share a game that has me super excited!

If you enjoy Castlevania type games, I think this is going to be something really special - a genuine follow up to the old school 2D Castlevanias. It had one of the most successful KS ever and thankfully it is going to get made.

I am pleased after the politics and fate surrounding the official Castlevania games that were super disappointing. Best of all, Michiru Yamane returns to compose the music. :smooch:

It's hard to believe I posted this almost three years ago and the game doesn't even have a release date yet.

It has been even longer for other metroidvania type games like Death's Gambit, Hart Forth Alicia, Monster Boy, Chasm, and a few others. I don't like this trend and it will feel like a kick in the crotch if the released game is of low quality.

I guess I need to stop getting my hopes up because I keep getting disappointed. RIP HOMM. :hanged:

Damn, time is flying.

On that genre, I'm waiting the second game from Ori's universe, Ori and the Will of Wisps. However, it sounds like it won't come for Steam at first ... which is a pain. Release date is also unknown.

Ori is a beauty. I'd also recommend Valdis Story, Dust Elysian Tale, Hollow Knight, and Rabi Ribi. Maybe Salt and Sanctuary. ;|

Dust Elysian Tale I have too. I like Metroidvania games. I have listed Axiom Verge, and Hob, and Cuphead in Steam for buying any day.
