Steam Summer Sale

Unread postby Angelspit » 06 Jul 2011, 16:45

Day 7 is about to start by the time I write this:

http://store.steampowered.com/

Have you picked up any game yet? I missed the sale on Fable 3 last week-end and didn't buy anything yet. But every day at 1 PM (EST) feels a little bit like Christmas morning. :D

Edit: King's Bounty for 3 bucks right now.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

Defense Grid (good tower defense game), Monday Night Combat, Just Cause 2, King Arthur Collection, Borderlands Game of the Year Edition, Killing Floor Bundle and Jamestown. All bought from the "Today's" Deals.

So far the only game I've really played is Defense Grid (8 hours), which was good fun and very good deal for just measly 2 euros. Thought to be honest I haven't played any tower defense games before (Rampart and Plant vs Zombies are only ones if you can count them) so partial reason for the enjoyment was the change from usual space. Still graphics was nice and gameplay solid.

Sure. I'm on vacation right now with limited gaming time, but I'm sure we can schedule a session. Unless you started sleeping at night. :)
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

I have! For maybe half a year, or more :) Very good! I still prefer the original discs and applying patches though. But I still love GOG, so many games, so much fun, so little time!

Why would you prefer applying patches? (i get having the disk, although burning the installer to one has all the same objective advantages).

Try Impulse as well. They don't have restrictions either, the client is only used to download the game itself or the patches.
