you mean the spell prevents curses from being cast at the target while still allowing blessings? is it 100% protection? if it is then it would be wa...ay better than magic immunity and anti-magic
I used to be indecisive, now I am not so sure...

Yes you right! its like barbrian with 100% magic resistance, and the spell is be good for level 5, But its can to take 18 spell points, and not 12. :)
Ok but if its be bad idea so maybe 90%? :|

it could work as a lv5 spell, which school will you put it in? the most natural would be life but it's already poweful enough...

I think the best is be in school: death or choas. Becuse there are no blessings spells. Or order. and nature is like life just blessings spells. ;|

it would be weird for death, however, you could have a spell that works in the opposite way (i.e. prevents blessings but allows curses) that would fit death.

I have idea for spell:

Code: Select all

School: Death
Name: Oldes
Level: 4

The magic do: all creature or hero get weak, for example: MD:

Code: Select all

Hit points: 1000 -> 500
Damge: 50-100 -> 25-50
Attack: 50 -> 25
Defense meele: 50 -> 25
Defense Range: 50 -> 25
Speed: 7 -> 3-4

So how the spell? :D

I think its a good spell from the dead spells... or other curses spells...
And for the icon (i dont know).

Just wanted to say i like the idea about a spell that could disable enemy casting blesses on his unit (probably
everything besides exorcism) a good chaos spell :D perhaps LvL5, plus chaos would have another curse spell
in it's style :devil:

a few ideas(make them only available on scrolls for example):

life level 5:mass regeneration.
each creature in the army regenerates a certain amount of life each turn.

nature level 5:lightning speed
each creature in the army gets +5 speed,+5move,+ negate first strike

order level 2:false informations
when an enemy look at your army,he doesn't see your real army.
the spell can be negated with vision(the order spell level 1,I'm not sure of the english name)

order level 3(or 4):see all
show everything on the map

order level 5:temporal fault
banish the chosen creature or hero during 3 turn.he leaves the battlefield,so he can't be attacked and no spells can be casted on him,even mass spells...

death level2:curse transfert
same than steal enchatment,but with curses...

death level 2:haunt mine
the mine has to be close to the hero.the mine stop its production,and undead creatures have to be killed to repair the mine.killing the undead creatures don't give any XP...

death level 3:destroy boat
maybe too powerful?

death level 5:transfer all curses
same than steal all enchantment,but with curses...

chaos level 2:firewall
it's used like quicksand.any creature who go trough it,isn't stopped but receives damages based on the level of the hero.

chaos level 3:traps
a number of traps based on the level of the hero appear on the battlefield.
each enemy who walk on one of them receives damages based on the level of the hero,and loses his turn.(traps aren't visible for your enemy)

chaos level 4:meteor shower
same area than the fireball,same damages than the lightning bolt.

About spells: (valuable for multi player game)

Town portal beter as level 5,

Pain Mirror beter as level 4

Mire as level 3, maybe 4 (very powerful on multi player game !!!)
(because off multi player game need fast to win, all mouvement spells are very powerfull......)

I would like to see some way to raise nonliving creatures such as golems, gargoyles, and undead.

My suggestion is rather than introducing a new spell, the spells "animate dead", and "death call" work permanently (rather than until the end of combat) if cast on fallen nonliving creatures. That means those spells need to be moved up a level or two.

If this doesn't work out, a new death spell called "reanimate" could do the job exactly as resurrection, but only on nonliving creatures.

what about these spells: death: lvl 3 (or4) mass disrupting ray
lvl 5 (or 4) toxic cloud (spell icon same as in MM7 or 8), effects: damage over time (can be accumulated with poison/plague), + effects of vial of acid

massdisrupting ray can't be level 4,mass misfortune is way better!
but this spell would be nice(we already have 3 differents mass spells which decrease ennemies'attack(curse,weakness,sorrow))

Idea of "Show all" and "Haunt mine' is very good.
I also like klaymen's suggestion about "Mass d.ray"

I'd like to see order lev.5 spell :

Enlightment, 12
Adventure spell
During next battle, hero can cast spells also from enemy spellbooks as if they were in his own. Double their mana cost. (YOUR mana is affected)

exapmle:
During the combat against druid and priest, add all spells from their spellbook to your spellbook, so our mage can also cast nature and life spells.
