Hehe. This reminds me of some of the screenshots in the Age of Mythology credits, of Mountain Giants playing football (the soccer one). Of course, that had numbered flags and actual colours on the creatures, and they could kick, but this is also pretty good. Except... what's with the frenzied gnahser? Is that meant to be a... mascott!!?

I'm a huge football fan... and a huge Heroes fan. So I guess we buck the trend. :-D

no cheerleaders :S it would have been nice to have a mage throw a fireball in the end zone to some other hero ;)

I like rugby way more than american football anyway

Some of the dungeon creatures in H5 would make excellent cheerleaders. :D

Perhaps the fact that in rugby there are rules that prevent punching your opponent straight in the face.

So you can only punch him indirectly in the face?

I always wondered why they call *that* football, since most of the time the ball is in your arms anyway.

Football (soccer) kicks ass, btw.

Foot-Ball=You run using your feet while carrying a ball. Its so obvious, isnt it?

But really, there isnt a single word in its name that is acurate. You neither kick the ball, nor is that eggy thing a ball. Its a leather oversized egg,or Loe for short. So it should be called:Runloe,or Handloe

Well technically you do, it's just a very small portion of the game.

Looks like the Defense is playing a 4-3. If Jerome can break through the behomoths, he'll blow by the linebackers!

Depends on your definition of berzerk. And Kendall Simmons (#73) isn't lined up on the line of scrimmage, so the play won't matter anyways.
