Kings Bounty on Vista

Unread postby Robenhagen » 16 Apr 2008, 17:02

Rosensmart just got Kings Bounty to run on Vista via dosbox.
Its nice with a bit of "pre historic gaming".

Tanks for the picture.

Mine would be a A or C. I'm not the barbarian type :)
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

my favorite is "A". Altough i like magic chars i play mostly males characters. Its realy great game even now, altough if you compare with its evolutioned series(homm) its realy easy and can be finished in few hours considering you get somewhat lucky with creature dwelings on first continent

A or D for me. Anyone ever finish KB? I never could and be strong enough to defeat the end boss. Forget what it was now. Was one of my 1st computer games, with Phantasie, Pool of Radiance and Bard's Tale

If I remember correct I finished it with Paladin (B) Sorceress (C) and Barbarian (D). The only problem I had, that the game crashed every time I tried to recruit the Demonic armies like Vampires and Demons.... The final Boss is hard indeed, but defeatable nonetheless :)

Killing Arech Dragonbreath was easy. It helps if your Demons managed to half some of his groups ofcourse.

Great game, still got it, still play it.

Even without demons half proc dragon and demon boss can be beaten. Find some town with time stop(best thing of this spell is that you dont have ti pay fee for army while spell is active and spells like raise control dont end until end of week) and raise control spells. Recast both till astronomic counts. Buy legion of knights. USe castle gate to teleport to castle needed.Only problem with this aproach that you can suffer quite big losses that decreases points if you try to get highest score.

KB is random so I couldn't get all that before time was up. I played on the C64. Where can I find the PC version?

Or bash their heads in with the knights. Spamming freeze also helps.

I played one game of KB on the easiest difficulty.

I didn't need to fight Arech Dragonbreath. Once you have enough of the map to figure out where it is, just dig in the center.

(Searching for his castle through the desert on the fourth continent was too expensive anyway given my Time Stop addiction.)
