According to the manual, there can be at most 3 hits/misses in a row on all Incorporeal stacks, after which the fourth try will be forced to miss (after 3 hits) or hit (after 3 misses). This counter is global (for all stacks), not tied to each stack. However, there appear to be some exceptions. Thanks evilp.

I suppose it's a good thing they took the ability off of Spectral Dragons then. Might have actually made them a threat...
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

yeah them ghosts are a big pain in the a$% always have my troops rather attack other units and leave the ghosts to my hero's spells or other units with spells that will guarantee a hit just a big waste when you got like 10 titans who can kill 60 ghosts in one shot but there is a chance that they will miss while they could've killed the 30 vampires guaranteed for example

Re: Ghost in the Matrix
That's what the call-lightning ability is for. With high stats, it may not do as much damage, but it is a magic attack (I think) and is a guaranteed hit.hein321 wrote:yeah them ghosts are a big pain in the a$% always have my troops rather attack other units and leave the ghosts to my hero's spells or other units with spells that will guarantee a hit just a big waste when you got like 10 titans who can kill 60 ghosts in one shot but there is a chance that they will miss while they could've killed the 30 vampires guaranteed for example

It also seems that you can use the miss sequence to your advantage. Let's say you had 3 misses in a row. Since the next attack will hit, you wait for a strong stack to go and pound on them. Similarly, if you have 3 hits in a row, you know to use an expendable attack on them.

some exceptions? ;-)
Human madness is the howl of a child with a shattered heart.

It's more fun with exceptions =) ...not!

I really, really hate those Wolves. Go, Spectres, go!
Before you criticize someone, first walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you'll be a mile away. And you'll have their shoes.

maybe the algorithm they used doesn't include the biting ability wolves share with the DE's...
