Two of the new monsters of the Hammers of Fate expansion, in high resolution. That's the very same Manticore that was hiding under my bed when I was a kid. Brrrrr.... Thanks Lord Crusader.

i hope someone will have made a nice new texture for manticore when i get HoF in some gold version of h5. this one isnt normal.

What's your definition of "normal" for a mythological beast ?

Like Marzihn said it's not supposed to look like a succubi...

And you can allways look at it this way, it's not a dragon or dwarf so that means there's something other than those in the expansion aswell.

No complaints with the wolf but the manticore....The different bodyparts seem to be placed like LEGO pieces! And what about the horns in his forehead??

Yes it is supposed to be ugly,but this one is ugly in a bad way.It should look scary and nauseating not like a shiny chinese sculpture.

i mean "normal" so it would at least look as something not resembling a toy. for example something like this as skin color:

I think the manticore looks great except for the face. Why is its mouth so big? It looks stupid.

Ah,but than the fans wouldnt notice how the graphics improved and is so shiney.

if i had to make a creature with this description, i would make something very similar ti the H3 manticore. they need to realize over there at Ubival that some things from H3 dont need to b changed at all.

it would be hideous if only it wasnt solight-colored... imo brown/dark_red fitted manticore perfectly in h3. h3 manticore looked uglier than this one, but the colors were better.
