The Color of the Orcs
LotR orcs are greens ? I thought they were more grey-skinned.

Even the Uruk-Hais seem more blak-skinned than green-skinned...

hmm maybe I am thinking of something else *shrugs* sometimes my brain does that to me. Been awhile since I watched the movie, so it is possible. Orcs are part swine if I am not mistaken. Swine should not be green, unless ill...so I would surmise these have just ate something that didn't set to well. Either that or because their leaders like to torture, they are forced to march to 'Playing with Fire' from K-Fed.
Warning, may cause confusion, blindness, raising of eybrows, and insanity.

The Color of the Orcs
Orcs were brown most of 90'es, and became green around 99:
Die by the sword: brown
Heroes1-2-4:orange/brown
M&M: brown/orange
and in many fantasy adventuregames.
+in all of the lotr paintings (alan lee++) and in you know, it's a trend that's changing

Warcraft always had green orcs. So maybe it is Warhammer... WAAAAAAGH
And i'm pretty sure LotR never used green for Orcs.
And look from where the pigish Orcs i love come from:

The use of the word "orc" in any of its monstrous senses should not be confused with various other words that have a superficial resemblance, including Gaelic orc (a Goidelic form of Proto-Indo-European *porkos "young pig") and Norse ørkn meaning "seal" [2].
