When the main bridge is out, the desert folk tend to just create a detour, creating an alternative bridge with some planks of wood further down.
<p>Why they didn't just put those planks across the broken stone bridge, is anybody's guess.

That's easy Kalah.

New wood...old stone. <snicker-guffaw-chuckle> :D

I don't understand. Even at alpha version, the graphics look exactly the same as H VI. Why do we need increased computing power? Is this even a really new game?

I think it looks pretty nice. I assume they built a new wood bridge to access the portal, since the stone bridge doesn't appear to have access?

It looks nice, but the graphics are VERY weak and I expect them to round it out before release or else I'm going to flip some tables.

Well, hopefully the processor can give the A.I. a little love. :D

Good thing that the bugger... err, HERO rides a goat, I see, them creatures are climbing them rocks like cats on a tree.

This looks so much like VI, that I am getting sick-bored by just watching the screenshots. :outoforder:

really cannot understand these graphics. Heroes 1, 2, 3 and 4 all looked very different from each other.

Why does 7 look like 6 with far more processor requirements? Ubisoft innovation I bet.

I agree that at first glance this looks only subtly different from H6, but it's a different engine that may give a different experience during live play, rather than just looking at a screenshot. Tell you what: I'll try to create a gameplay video for you, in hi-res, when I get my hands on a playable version. Then we'll get a true representation of the graphics. :)

Well, to these guys credit they do appear to be getting a better grasp on aspects of the game. And we can hope they are not "flying by the seat of their pants" like some of the adventures of recent times. You know, "maybe they gotta plan."......this time <L>

Edit= You know, I never got "flying by the seat of their pants" I'd rather be naked with a plane under my bum. <very big grin>

Well Kalah, I do wonder if there will ever be a playable version. H6 wasn't exactly playable even after the expansions...

That's true. But H6 was made by Black Hole, who didn't know a computer from a block of cheese. I have more confidence in these guys. I could be wrong, of course, but we'll have to wait and see.
