The Gnoll and the Hunter

Unread postby Kalah » 10 May 2015, 18:26

"Seen any good eatin' lately?"

"Nah, man, I haven't eaten in ages."

"How about that treant you cought yesterday?"

"Tasted like tree. Couldn't get me teeth into it. I'm thinkin' about eatin' you."

"Me? But I'm a gnoll, like you!"

"I'm not a gnoll, I'm a gnoll hunter, get it?"

This is the best looking (both artwork and rendered) unit I think so far. Also, in spite of its details, it doesn't feel overdecorated.

I'm not so sure. It has a good sort of reaction ability. I think it triggers when it's flanking the subjects in question. It does feel like this unit has a bit more strategy appeal about it.

Gnolls are practicing stepdance now, I see.

The silly little helmet of the upgrade still cracks me up. As much as I love gnolls, to see them return as part of the Barbarians instead of the Fortress... argh.
