Heroes 1 Box

Unread postby Kalah » 01 Jun 2014, 20:11

A nice box of the Heroes (1) game. It's not a premiere/release version but some re-edition (with a copy of manual instead real one).

Thanks to Avonu.

In case you're wondering, the first game of the series can still be bought as a digital version from <a href="/http://www.gog.com/game/heroes_of_might ... GOG.com. The box is rarer, but sometimes pops up in shops like Amazon.

I still have the original HoMM1 is both DOS & Windows version with the original box & manuals. This was my 1st turned-based strategy game & I played countless hours. What a gem.

I also have the original HoMM1, given to me by my wife many years ago as a gift. Wow, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. We played well into the wee hours many a night - "Just one more turn", which of course turned into MANY more turns. Strange, but despite graphical and other improvements, the subsequent games never seemed to have quite the magic :) that the first one did.
