While the developers have clearly worked hard to fix both in-game bugs and server issues, some people are <a href="/http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/29 ... 300">still reporting</a> problems ... some worse than others.

<p>The lesson to be learned from all this, I think, is to do a good job when coding the original game, so that fixing issues later doesn't become impossible.

Surely you have inside info Chifteluta. Tell us, how many hours did the developers worked per day to fix the game?

I doubt Chifteluta has insiders info ... but since I do, I'll stand by my earlier claim.

Given such problems, I wouldn't be surprised if their game code is written much like the code I'm trying to clean up at the moment (all variable and function names are nonsensical, the whole code is in four humongous files, no documentation anywhere, random inline ASM).

That, or it's written in ERM :D

I think the lesson is not to have bad luck and have Ubi pick up the rights for the franchise in the first place.
