Eyefinity

Unread postby Kalah » 21 Jan 2012, 14:13

H6 is the first Heroes game that supports crislevin's eyefinity setup. It's really nice.

Here's an adventure map.
<p>Thanks to crislevin.

Waah! This is something to envy. This Eyefinity visual scenery is simply amazing.

I've seen Heroes III running on six monitors one year ago. Of course that wasn't eyefinity, but this statement seems to be marketing nonsense anyway.

I would rate it as "funny" rather than "breakthrough".

with the adventure map looking AMAZING in the game, i can see how Eyefinity is brilliant. Love how the HUD also scales with the screens.

I never really liked multiple monitor setup just because of that perspective issue. The trees on the left and the right look horrible, because you are not supposed to see them (you are expected to just look in the dead centre of the screen). The same issue is there with most of other 3D games with unlimited resolution.

@GreatEmerald

Even without that, i've always found excessive widescreen annoying... not being able to see down is just unnatural...
