Week of Artefacts

Unread postby Kalah » 29 May 2011, 21:56

The artefacts released in connection with last week's <a href="/http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... >artefacts special</a>.

I do recognize several things ... such as Asterx' helmet, the Ankh, the lion shield from Heroes IV, and the red shield is obviously inspired by Norse legends.

Is it me, or haven't they yet shown a single weapon artefact? Is this their way of saving best for last?

You just noticed that? Half the names of the units there are in Japanese.

Anime is a specific style of cartoon. An asian-influenced faction is not necessarily anime just because it is asian-influenced.

It's too bad we live in an age of exclusive preorder and special edition artefacts.

I'd so love to see a new 'helmet' that's modelled on Princess Beatrice's hat.

I don't think the art looks overly anime inspired.

I am not sure if this one was asked (and/or answered) before, but considering the generalization ("humanization"?) of all the heroes (knight on a shiny horsie), will we see the artifacts placed/equipped on the damn hero on the adventure/battle field map? I would love to see that.

Pretty sure you're not. Not since MM9, or any heroes game ever.

Yeah, even if they did include something like it i'd prefer it it was just a new look for the grades of artefacts and not for every piece of armour (well the could give them different colours i guess)
