I totally agree: Less would be (so much) more. I could also do without one sword, the hood, the wing armor, the "metal halo", the jewelry... *sigh* :(

To all women out there with guilts:

Even Angels are attracted to jewellery, it seems.

Yes, I have to agree those angels have too much ornaments but it is much better than the artwork

I like the H4 Angel. Big, strong, powerful. And yes, I know that the physical strength of angels is supposed to be drawn from the will of a divine power, and that as such, physical appearance is irrelevant ... but still ... I just feel that an angelic creature should look more buff. That includes this thing.

I dislike their cap - they need to tilt their head back in order to see in front of them... And yeah, to much ornaments. Angels/seraphs/celestials should have simple armour and the likes; they do not need to show off.

I get the feeling that many details here are horribly 2D or have little to no depth. But then again, I don't think they are to be zoomed in on that much, are they?

I appreciate the amount of detail they put into the creature, even if there is an excess of ornaments. I think dual-wielding the swords adds an aspect of badassery to it, even though it breaches the traditional angel archetype.
