Shipwrecked

I think the captain might want to have a word with the guy who was steering his ship just before this happened ...

Better it was visitable location (treasure), not just decoration...

If i'd have to choose between the smoke monster and Jacob as Homm characters, i'd pick smokey. Edit: on second thought, we already have Biara who has some similarities with smokey...

Yet another original idea. Gaming has gone to another level of copying. What's next?

@hellegennes: TV references in Might & Magic. It totally never happened during the NWC era... There was no references to Star Trek or other TV shows in the old Might & Magic games whatsoever. Yeah, right... :)

Anyway, the Black Rock of Lost was not on a tree... This ship was actually a little nod to a wonderful book by Terry Pratchett called Nation. ;)

References/tributes and copying are two different things. In order for something to be a reference, it must be:

a. recognisable

b. outspoken and clearly indicated

c. consistent

d. fitting inside the context

So, tell me, how does Nation has anything to do with the Heroes universe? Because I don't remember anything even remotely reminiscent of it, while reading it.

If you followed the M&M story, then you know how do references to Amber of Star Trek fit.

...uh-huh, and how about all of the Gilligan's Island references in Foolhardy Waywardness? Man, those certainly ruined that campaign and universe. Worst scenarios I've played in a long time. :P
