Heroes VI Ghost Art

Unread postby Kalah » 06 Sep 2010, 18:39

Another drawing of an H6 creature insisting on showing you its hands. Ghost this time; possibly the end of the H5 wraith?

It's called the Reference Pose for easy modelling :P

Hmm, that's hardly what I'd call a ghost. Maybe a spirit, but not a ghost in the usual sense. Those in HoMM4 were closest to what I'd imagine as a ghost - 100% ethereal, greenish, quite slow and spooky. While this is just some kind of a woman without legs, that's all. Besides, here the proportions are terrible again.

Why would a ghost be green?! (besides a Slimer shout out)

The best Ghost where still from HoMMII...

Good thing is that they dropped 3 in 1 concept that was used in homm 5 and which jumped out of line imo. I would prefer somewhat genderless ghost as in homm3 but anyway it looks better than homm4 or 5 ghost concept.

H3 had it as a Wight/Wraith... which made the flying skeleton in a robe work better... a Ghost should really be somewhat transparent.

Banshee, probably, if made a standalone unit herself. And yes, likely to replace the wight/wraith

I see it more as a Ghost. Probably a Core Unit. I think there are'nt gone bee those nice Reaper looking Wight/Wrights, becasue of the spider looking female. But still, I'm realy exited about her.
