The Grail looks alot like the Ark of the Covenant

edit: Mods, can you close the other Artifacts thread I started? (starting this one was unintentional; I had forgotten that posting a comment on the site will create a new thread here...)

It's strange... there is a bunch of Dwarven artifacts, but there are no dwarves in the game... Maybe Ubi / Nival are planning a dwarf town in the future?

Remember the Law? It was a cup proper in H4, and so it couldn't be that again in H5, so they reverted back to H3-style :disagree:

Dwarves were erradicated so the artifacts would remain scarce,in order to speed up gameplay

The icicle and the frosty shildy thing are perfect for me ;]

However, some of the artifact have lame colurs :/ Too bright and reminding me the colour palette of some games for GB ;P

This one for instance: https://www.celestialheavens.com/homm5/ ... shield.jpg

The helm of Enlightenment looks... odd. It's... a turban. Besides that the artifacts look very nice, especially with the cartoonish style of the icons. The colours are very well done.

I remember it was said that they will make a single artifact matter more this time, so that there won't be "an abundance of artifacts" like in H3.

I personally like the pendant of mastery (more the effect than the look). Now we know how those 4th levels of skill can be obtained. :)

Ring of life adds +4 on creature hp!Isnt it a bit too much? That means that just one weeks population of lvl 1s gets as much HP as most of lvl 6s!

Maybe Ring of Life is a relic of some sort? But personally I don't like such a drastic effect either. It should provide regeneration instead. At least that's more subtle.

Still, I do hope there will be more artifacts introduced later, something interesting we haven't seen yet before.

I wonder where are the relics, the reeeeeally strong artifacts. (Yes, combining artifact into a much stronger one would be very nice.) Will there be a Marketplace of some sort where you can sell the unused gear?
