New Building Information

Unread postby Angelspit » 02 Feb 2006, 21:49

Igoraki and Bald Wolf invite you to a tour of the towns of Heroes of Might and Magic V. The brand new building section contains lots of information about the architecture of all the factions, including usage and costs.

Each faction contains seperate pages for the common and the special buildings. Even the beta testers will see buildings they might have not seen before. Check it out!

Very good job CH. I'm especially impressed with this and the Creature Statistics. Nice.

Oh, I gather I did a double post? Sorry if that's the case :)

Anyway I was just complimenting igoraki and Bad Wolf for their great job. And I immediatly went to check if they made a mistake and switched the Hydra and Matron structures (as they are switched in the game now) but, I'm glad you didn't fall for it :)

Nice work, over all. Seems like either Haven or Sylvan Grail description is wrong though (though that would be due to a text error in game- I've seen the Haven Grail structure( :D ), and it does say "luck") ;|

Really nice designs!

Ah, it gets harder and harder waiting for this game :(

Lots of difference between the factions here. Looks very promising!

...and expensive... Can anyone tell how the "town level" functions?

It's easy - each building adds one level.

Is it just me, or is all the buildings do the same thing? I thought each race gets things diff some.

Check the special buildings. Of course all the common buildings do the same things, and all of the dwellings produce creatures. The special buildings, however, differ greatly for each faction.

Nice buildings, but they lack character. Except for Necropolis, there is no telling whether or not it is a higher/lower creature dwelling, or a marketplace, and the buildings are pretty similar throughout the factions. Unlike the creatures, which are pretty dynamic and individual. I miss recognition in the town outlines. But it is still a great game, probably:)

Seems it is 5 special buildings per town or at least 3, 2 are 1 basic and 1 upg. In H3 the special buildings ranged widely from 1-5 or was it 1-4? Anyway the town are very diverse this time and thats just great!
