It's striking how good the scores for H4 were, and how bad they were for its expansions!

If you want even more reviews, head over to Metacritic (e.g. http://www.metacritic.com/games/platfor ... tandmagic4). That's the score that most developers really look at, to balance out all the quirks of various reviewers.

By the way, the page omitted the ratings of the two biggest ones for Heroes 4:

Gamespot: 8.8

IGN: 87%

It's a real shame that the game got cracked down so much on the bugs. They shouldn't have been in retail for sure. But take them out of the picture and you do have a great and innovative game experience.

It's not really a shame, it's an indictment on Ubisoft! and not the first and will not be the last, cause they just can't get it thru their skulls that taking some extra time and getting rid of the major bugs is a worthwhile effort!!!

Imagine the scores if the major bugs were ironed out beforehand!

Shame on Ubisoft

As more H6 reviews continue to tick in, it seems to be "either or", depending upon whether the reviewers have taken the bugs into account or not. Discounting the bugs and the Conflux system, most reviewers seem quite impressed.

...most reviewers seem quite impressed.
And this is quite impressive itself. :D
