Anybody knows if he's seen this yet? :)

Btw, is it "Tribe of the East" or "Tribes of the East"? :P

:) If my boss doesn't fire me, I can work on it every night for 1-2 hours. Each mission takes about 3 hours to play, 1.5 hours to write, 1 hour to process the pics and 1 hour to format. So you can work out the math... :P

Haven't played any of the expansions (not that keen on H5), so wouldn't know if there's anything to the criticism in the mentioned review or not. But I DO know that no serious rewiever would take sulking from a bunch of fanbois seriously. Just as no serious fanbois should care much what some heathen rewiever thinks ;)

Nice leaves though :D

From roy-algriffin at HC :)
Look what i found about an FPS-
The Good Realistic game mechanics Incredibly challenging Detailed mission design varies between commando exploits and playing spy.

The Bad Overly difficult in spots Artificial aspects of the stealth interface get in the way at times.
Game Details | About Our Rating System

Although the name SMERSH sounds like something out of an old Get Smart! episode, nobody laughed at this counterespionage organization during the Second World War. Translated into English, this acronym means "Death to spies," which pretty much sums up the no-nonsense nature of this precursor to the Soviet Union's dreaded KGB. The game of the same name from Russian developer Haggard Games doesn't mess around either, presenting some of the grittiest stealth action to hit the sneaker genre since Agent 47 first shaved his head. Open-ended mission objectives, smart level design, and extreme difficulty also add to the realism, proving that developers haven't wrung all of the good game ideas out of WWII quite yet.

If there wasnt enough proof this guys an idiot
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/death ... eview.html

Even with some missteps, Haggard Games accomplishes a lot with Death to Spies. Deeply difficult and absolutely remorseless, this game isn't for the faint of heart. But it is definitely worth the struggle, as long as you've got the patience to appreciate such a rigorous design.

That quote is a bit messy, Elvin, mixing in segments from a review with claims of idiocy and sending-requests. Is it meant to say he liked this difficult game well enough but not another difficult game, so he's an idiot, please tell CH I support their open letter? Or is it he liked this difficult game, so it's not that he's an utter noob causing him to find TotE frustrating?

I know, I just quoted it as it was. Having difficulty as the main argument which he normally enjoys sounds a little funnier now. Anyway there's not much else to be told on the matter.

Not really. He has his opinion, which he is entitled to, but who cares what some reviewer thinks if you enjoy the game? :)

So he says anything he wants about our favourite game, and we shouldn't even react?

The score is not the problem, it's the fact that he doesn't make any valid point in his article.

If one were to react to everyone who says stupid things... well, fulltime-job and more. What can you do? Say he's stupid and point out the flaws in the review, of course. Fine. Then what? Go to his house at night, wrap it in toiletpaper and rub styrofoam on his windows? :)

I prefer to write of pointless people as, well, pointless, and ignore what they have to say. Easier than the "go to his house at night..."-bit, though less fun, I admit :D

The above is not meant as supprting illegal activites, nocturnal or otherwise, and the author takes no responsibilty for anything, anywhere. Ever.

Don't get me wrong.

I heven't said, that the reaction should be agressive, or to do anything to Brett Todd or whatever that guy's name is. No way. He doesn't worth that much. He just wrote a review that's unjust. And if we make fun, of him that's the best way of reaction.

Actually ignoring him would be the best course of action. He did his job, he wrote a review. We disagree, move on. There's nothing any of us can do about it now, so no point in dwelling on it.
