KB is *NOT* rival to HoMM, so no "brilliant idea" is required.

H5 is closer to H3 more than to any other HoMM game. So I would say about need to turn H4 players.

"Impov", Heroes seems not to have anything much further on to develop if it won't change rather a lot. Since graphics wouldn't mean much these days if we speak about "real" changing, hopes will stand for features like gameplay or else. Nobody must consider more castles, units, heroes or else as a real increment.

They might think a bit more.

On a side, I'd be rather pleased having Heroes as a game with 2 choosable kinds of battle: TB and RT. As for real time, splitting up the troops on a great place or such - but that's just a winded up sort of idea. :D More like a whim.

Well, if Ubi cares about the series they let a team of UBI Montreal take a look at it and make some interesting changes. That seems great but also crap, because i think Heroes is defined by the gameplay, that hasn't changed much in al those years, but it still really strong!
You can either agree with me, or be wrong...

Yes, while I loved what they did with H5 graphics gameplay is what would keep me playing. What I would expect is a naga faction and the rest factions changed a bit(spells/units/abilities/skills) so as to remain fresh. That and going back to might and magic types of heroes for each faction ;)

It's a delicate balance on what to keep and how much to reinvent the game.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

No need for remakes. Why to turn back, if you can go forward? If you really want to play H2-3, than play with the original. Remakes are just an easy method to sell you the same thing twice. There's nothing creative or impressive in it. It's just easy money. I hope we'll hear from HeroesVI soon.

@ Ravenheart87 -- Well said. It is refreshing to see some clear thinking about HOMM.
