Ken Levine Loves Heroes II

I suppose this will mean sales for H2 may explode once again. That's good to see. A game worthy of rebound. Also, I've been reading here and there about someone or a group of people contemplating whether to make a Mod for H2, sort of, in between a design of WoG and Equilibrus for H2. With this kind of news, that Mod may be seriously underway too.

It's always been my favorite game in the series, too.

@Ravenheart

No I've never played GalCiv2, but I may check it out since so many people hold it in high regard.

History has shown that when somebody or some group comes out with a Top 5 or 10 games of all time thing, many who have never tried the games mentioned, usually purchase it to see what all the hub bub is about. So, with that sort of mind set, yes, I am a bit optimistic, I guess.
A person who has never tried HoMM2, and tries it and likes it, means one more HoMM fan. :)

Maybe sales will rise by some amount, but I'd sooner expect piracy rates to climb.

Look at any "abandonware" site, and you'll see that the majority of them are really "old warez" sites. Apparently many people feel less guilty about pirating old games than new ones for some reason...

Wait, you can find H2 in stores now?!

@Darmani

yeah, it's weird how people feel less guilty about acquiring something that's no longer on sale by it's owners...
