Look Ma, Telekinesis!

Unread postby Angelspit » 01 Nov 2007, 15:33

On the Dark Messiah forum, when I said I had found <a href="/http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/ ... 06">little use for the Telekinesis spell</a>, member VenomKing666 explained how much can be done with a kick/telekinesis combo:

<i>"When you kick enemies off some high ledges they enter ragdoll mode, when they are in this mode, you can "capture" them with telekinesis and throw them, you can also use it to throw objects with a great strenght, wich will often make enemies fall, in ragdoll mode."</i>

I cannot remember my mage knight doing that much. His fire-based spells and his mighty might were what took me through the most difficult situations. In any case, check out venom's <a href="/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqDZS23muHI">telekinesis movie on YouTube</a>. The best part is near the end: he uses telekinesis to swing a corpse tied to the ceiling to hit his enemies. That alone makes me want to revisit Sareth, Arantir and friends once I finish Tribes of the East.

Haha, this one is great. I already started to replay Dark Messiah with a magic orientated character but I fear I will end up with pure might anyway, as usual. :P

That is one of my favourite spells! I'll be buying that game when it gets a bit cheaper. It has much nicer magic than Oblivion. :)

Awesome! =)

I didn't think you can grab them before they're dead... and it doesn't say anywhere, either. Is this a bug?

I hope the upcoming MMORPG based on Heroes will have similar spells.
