"We saved Heroes?" It's amazing how half cocked the "Hommunity" behaves. "We" don't know if "we" had anything to do with Heroes' delay, and we still don't "know" if the end result will be a good or bad game.

This is b.......

In life you can never be sure on anything els then you shall die once.

When the delay the release, they still have to pay the developer, so I assume they work on the game in that time aspect.

Even if they work 10 more year we can't be sure the game is great, but we can assume the fix some of the bugs that is reported by beta players. We can assume that more time will give a better product then what would be released 30.03.06.

As for your attac on leader on community and us in the community I will not comment because it to low!

ANd how many patches did it take to achieve that? Those things were hardly true when the game was released.

Yay! So Heroes V is postponed! To me that is great news indeed. Hopefully, by the time it is ready for release, all those irksome bugs will be squashed & something positive will happen concerning the copy-protection too. Hope springs eternal! :-D

No, but that is hardly Ubi's fault. I don't know how they usually do their patching (even if I doubt they're as dedicated as Blizzard. Saw a new SC patch on fileplanet the other day). So this is a matter that I find better to let rest for now. Plenty of time to bugger them about patches when we know what actually will need fixing.

Well, its not just about patching. All those things that were faulty in SC were minor ones. But how can you deal with something as major as inferno weaknes in HIII?Or the combat AI?Or the AI in HIV?

Well, I'm no inferno expert, but from what I understand, it's not half as underpowered as people like to think it is...

But you're right that balancing or patching never was NWC's/3do's trong point. Unless you show me that Ubi has a similar history, I'll not fear that the same will be true for H5 though (although there I have seen some bad signs about it coming from Nival...)

Well patches are the developers responsability. But i'm sure Ubi can pressure them if the need appears.

Great news thise one.

A little something for the cynics:

You can debate the true reason of the postponing of this game eternally. No one but the executives will ever know the reason. Then again, you could do something productive with your time as well.

Messa finda ur lack'a finesse disturbing!

There are less loud ways to make people talk. Like braking in their homes in the middle of the night, gaging them and draging them to the middle of the forest, then proceding to bury them alive for an hour or two. After that there ain't nothing that they won't tell you.
