Those screens look pretty pretty great.

Nice translations though: "Had died [insert creep here]".

Btw, was this game known by another name some time ago, like a year or so ago?

@Nebs

The game used to be called 'Battle Lord', but 1C has since acquired the right to use the name 'King's Bounty' and figured (probably correctly) that name recognition would sell more copies of the game, so they renamed it.

I don't know how I read it, but for a second I thought we finally had a KB forum at the RT.

*sigh*

ah well... still waiting.

These graphics are as good, if not better, than Heroes 5. I have a hard time understanding those who say that KB's graphics look bad, but praise H5's.

I for one cannot wait for this game to be released. From what I've seen, there are far more units in this game than H5 gave us.

Does it being in real time bother anyone?

Not knowing much about the game and being mostly a single-player player, I'm not too woried about the real-time aspect of it as long as battles are turn based.

HOWEVER

It depends on how the game plays. Is there an enemy running around at the same time? Is he limited to move about the same rate as you? Does he continue to work/move when you are in city view, battleing, . . . ? It's really hard to say without knowing things like this. Of course, if you're looking to play multi-player that would be different.

If I am not mistaken there will be no multiplayer at first. Screenshots look even better than previous.

Why competitor to Heroes? This will be good addition to Heroes series. I like that there will be no need to guard castles and worry about it. You simply can buy army and go exploring dungeons and sea. I want demo!!!! And I will play Disciples 3 too. And maybe someday Age of Wonders 3:)) Who knows...

Very cute but some of the unit models look bad imo. All in all it seems fun :)
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

I like the graphics style. Definetly will play it along heroes, disciples, AoW.

One question though: From screenshots it seems that u throw ur army against some giant monster. Is that true? If yes, this will be a nice feature!

In all likelihood I'll be buying Disciples III before I buy this, but I haven't tried its demo yet.

Giant spider is boss, in earlier screenshots was giant turtle as well. I believe you will have almost no army left and no mana points after such a battle.:)

I usually only play Homm in MP. I guess that's my main concern with KB. (oh yeah, and that there are only three classes to choose from)

If you have any questions concerning KB: The Legend (and as I see you have them), visit 1C's forum dedicated to it. And we will answer any of your questions. We're waiting for you, guys!
