Legends of the Ancients : Book 1 available !

Book 1 of Legends of the Ancients is now available ! At last...

Legends of the Ancients is a user-made campaign for Heroes of Might and Magic V : Hammers of Fate, taking place in the original Might and Magic universe. There will be 4 parts, or Books, each consisting of 4 to 8 scenarios. Book 1, entitled "Fires from the North", contains 6 chapters.

The campaign is available in both english and french, thanks to the efforts of the guys at heroes-fr.com.

I hope you'll enjoy this first adventure. For my part, I'm going back to work on Book 2

You'll still have to remove the .h5m files from your Maps directory though.

@ Hotak : if you created a new profile to play LotA (as I recommended in the readme), then you'll have to modify the .ini file of your new profile to add the line allowing you to call the console in-game, the same way you did for your original profile.



But don't forget : "Cheating is the best way to skip much of the fun of the gameplay !"

for me it crashed in part1 chapter3, did it you guys too?i have to propaply install this again and hope it will work

too bad i dont have HoF. would have liked to try it out otherwise. since TotE includes much of HoF, would i be able to use this mod with TotE?
