The Thunder Thane can increase its damage by 1.2 times and place Mark of Fire on an enemy. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but it's a good ability if used in conjunction with the dragons and the priests.

They couldn't come up with a better name than Thunder Thane? He sounds like a professional wrestler.

Very true. Look at this pic and you will see that the Berserker is the same size as a Peasant and the Thane/Warlord isn't much bigger than that. I'd hardly consider them a giant after seeing this.

Isn't much bigger? The warlord is three times the size of the peasant! That is pretty big if you ask me! How big must a giant be to be called giant. And btw, that dragon in the size chart looks MUCH better than anything dragon so far in h5

Um, try again. The Peasant is listed at 2 meters and the Warlord is around the 2.5-2.75 meter range. How is that 3 times the size?

Hmm... A peasant with two meters? LOL :D

And I don't know why, but in the game they look bigger (the Warlord, I mean)

I doubt the peasant is anywhere near 2 m (that is a bit under 7ft in imperial measures) - my guess would be 5ft9 tops, and that the figures were just used for comparison. Again though, a giant dwarf would barely reach the height of an average human - it would not be about 1.5 times bigger (which is why I think the Thane underwent magic rituals)! Leaving aside the Thane, the other dwarves should be shorter than the peasant. Compare Wulfstan to Duncan. That is roughly how big a normal dwarf is - a bit over 4ft.

Stone Defender: Ok name but Guardian would be better, funny and cool look :)

Harpooner: Good name, good look. And I like his grin *grin*

White Bear Rider: Looks good but why in the natures name call it white when its grey??? Its just the same with the Black dragon, its not black but dark grey! Repeat greybear rider

Battlerager: Well at leat better than bonecrusher, he should use a two handed hammer then. Cool look, Viking ownage B)

Flame Keeper: Perfecto name, yeah I wondered why noone had that name from before.

Thunder Thane: Close to Thunder Titan, pro wrestler ;p Nice name and nice look there.

Lava Dragon: Looks good and the name most fan guessed at was correct :D

Concern!!! For me most of these outrank the old upg, dammit! Why call it alternative when they seems more powerful?? Lordi!

"Look at this pic and you will see that the Berserker is the same size as a Peasant"

In that pic, peasant and Berserker have only same height, but size is almost double in Berserker's favor. So Berserker isn't dwarf as well.

The dwarves are a fantasy race who tend to be shorter and sturdier. This doesn't mean they have to be short as the term's normal meaning. But, the average height of the dwarves is generally lower than that of human or elves.

yeah thats explain it, now let settle that discussion. tiresome it is. Just let say they were normal dwarves enhanced or trained to a degree that made them surpass their normal, standard height and width.

Or, we could just assume that Nival, as usual, is inconsistent when it comes to lore and plots, and leave it at that.
