It didn't take long for a Web site dedicated to the newly announced Mac port of Heroes V to appear on the Net. HOMM•V for OSX was created by Hambone (who might or might not be Obiter on the official forums) and features a clean blog-like design. The writer has a sharp tongue ("the clearest statement we ever got out of Fabrice (...) on the possibility of the Mac port was some B.S. about economic feasibility.") and appears to be willing to fight for the Mac cause. The site contains a nice feature about the history of HoMM on the Mac as well as word of an interview with Freeverse's Colin Smith and Bruce Morrison.

¿Quieres ganar un HeroesV? La Torre de Marfil is opening two contests: a mapmaking competition and an offline tournament. In both cases, you need to speak Spanish to participate, but the winners will receive a copy of Heroes V. Check out the Web site for more information.

In fact you don't need to absolutely speak a perfect Spanish to participate. Even if you convince anybody to translate your map to spanish and it fits the rules you are in ;).

The game copy for the winner will probably be the spanish edition though, specialy if it's cheaper.

This might be a good opportunity to announce another mapmaking competition, this one in Laponese-Serbish (northsouthern accent only, please). No mods, expansions or patches either. The theme of our contest is "The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse". Oh, and don't call us, we'll call you!

Namerutan said to me we'll have no problem about shipping the prize to any place, Lord_Crusader.

Namerutan me ha dicho que no hay ningún problema en enviarlo a cualquier lugar, Lord Crusader.
