Might and Magic on Gootube

It's freezing outside, it's been a bit boring at work, so why not check out what's playing on Youtube:

<li>Part 1 of a <a href="/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkDtwnOxnI4">Dark Messiah video walkthrough</a> shows you how to deal with the guards on your way to the Temple of the Spider, on level 5. The author is a pretty lousy fighter who completely misses a backstab, and at some point looks like he almost got both Leanna and himself killed. However, he does have the right technique to fight the facehuggers and, to his credit, he did it at hard. Seeing this made me want to play the game again.

<li><a href="/http://youtube.com/watch?v=cs9QEoJFU1w">Heroes of Might and Magic6</a> is weird, silly and pointless, but it made me chuckle the two times I watched it. Watch at your own risk!

<li><a href="/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14vtsQtt7ls">World of GamerZone</a> is a pretty bad local show from Wichita, Kansas. It's the video equivalent of listening to your obnoxious co-worker who keeps telling you about games you're not interested in. Halfway through the show, they review Heroes V and Magic V and spend two good minutes whining about the fact that lips were not moving during the cutscenes. They gave the game a 7.5 out of 10.

As you can see, you were not missing a lot. But I think I'll watch that Heroes6 battle sequence one more time...

Cruz credo. What a vision-killer that Heroes game. "You got a virus..." It seems like a test for anything about sound and video mixing.

(World of GameZone) That video was made in Wichita Ks,??? Wow, didn't know they exist but anyhow, what an embarrassment? Makes us Wichitans look like hicks trying to play intelligent! Errrrrrrrrr cough, cough... :o

The Heroes 6 thing made me laugh a bit too. But then I swore never to watch that video again.

If I had a recording device to use, I would record myself playing Dark Messiah and make my own walkthrough, which would be much better than THAT one. As for fighting facehuggers as a warrior, you don't need to swing your sword once, just defend with the Lightning Shield.

@Cloud: you don't have access to the Lightning Shield on chapter 5 if I remember correctly, so in that level you need to swing a lot.
