Legends of the Ancients Opens

The brand new site of <a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/lota/">Legends of the Ancients</a> opens on Celestial Heavens. LotA is an upcoming campaign for Heroes of Might and Magic V created by Marzhin, with artwork by Jean-Mathias Xavier. The story takes place in Axeoth and features well-known characters such as Lysander, Solmyr and Emilia Nighthaven. Book 1 of 4 should be released in February. The site includes an introduction of the main characters, a summary of the plot and a desktop wallpaper. Screenshots will become available at a later date.

Marzhin is <a href="/viewtopic.php?t=4303">looking for some help</a> to complete his campaign. Send him a PM if you'd like to contribute.

Yes, everybody go help Marzhin! He has a better plot in the first two maps than Nival has in several campaigns.

This is so exciting. I just finished the HoF Campaigns; and while they were an improvement over the original H5 Campaigns, the fan-made maps & campaigns will certainly breathe new life and replayability into the game. Thank you Marzhin, Jean-Mathias Xavier & every one of you wonderful mapmakers.

So, is anyone from the project going to tell the Ubi forums? If not, then I'll atleast start a thread there tomorrow... A thing liek this ought to get it's own sticky over there

@ evilp : no, it's just good old textboxes.

@ JJ : if so, maybe Might and Magic shouldn't have been resurrected by Ubi at all. I like H5 very much (and even more with HoF), but still I can't think of Ashan as the "Might and Magic Universe". Axeoth lives !

@ all : thanks for the kind words. I'm not sure it will be THE mod (it doesn't add much to the game itself) but we'll do our best to deliver the best campaign we can
